I’ll warn you, this is a bit of a mega-epic at over 9 minutes, but It’s my United States Video diary! If you’ve been watching these a while you’ll know I’ve been to the state before breifly, but this is a proper epic road trip, from West Coast to East visiting loads of cities including California, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington DC and New York! Hadrian’s Wall Charity Walk Photos

Oh my aching legs. I have done the Hadrian’s Wall Comedy Charity Walk. I may have only done two days of the walk, but I don’t do much exercise and have walked over thirty miles in aid of the children and young persons kidney fund, which is based at the RVI in Newcastle. It was very demanding and also a lot of fun. I will be appearing at Nick’s Rib Ticklers Comedy Club in august, later in the year.

Big Keith’s Chat Show at the Newcastle Stand

On Easter Monday John will be appearing on Steffen Peddie’s Chat Show Thing at the Newcastle Stand Comedy Club. It’s a chat show hosted by Big Keith from Hebburn. He will be talking to John about about me probably and how much money he makes off my back, which I’m not happy about. Also on the bill is Simon Donald from the Viz who has a proper filthy mouth on him. Tickets are only £3 and you can get them here.

Hadrians Wall Charity Walk

I’m going to be joining some other comedians on a Charity Walk along Hadrian’s Wall. As I’ve only got short legs I’ll not be doing all of it, but meeting the longer legged folk halfway as they arrive in the town of Once Brewed, near Housesteads Fort, on April 1st (April Fools Day) and walking with them all the way to Newcastle Upon Tyne over three days.

The walk had been arranged by Nick Banks and Rib Ticklers Comedy Club and is in aid of the Children and Young Peoples Kidney Fund, which helps kidney disease suffers. You can make a donation to this good cause by visiting their Just Giving Page. Go on you know you want to.

Hadrians Walls runs from East to West along the North of England and was built as a defence by the Romans to protect them from angry axe wielding Scotsmen around AD122. Many of the forts and ruins are still intact and make great places to visit.

Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival Show – Feb 22nd

I have been hard at work on my new show, and it’s coming to Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival this month. Loads of new stuff about travelling round the world and getting into scrapes and trying to become a ‘man of the world’. I’m will be at the Exchange Bar on 22nd February.

I have just done an interview with Demon FM radio station in Leicester, which you can listen too soon.

“After a critically successful Edinburgh run in 2011 with Danny Pensive’s Map of Britain, Danny has spent 2012 travelling the around the world learning really important stuff like why Australia has a different coco pops monkey and in America, Cowboys are really just farmers with big hats who ride horses instead of tractors. He’s eaten Kebabs in Cairo, a Kangaroo burger in Brisbane and pizza in Chicago Town, been to a SPAM museum and created a security alert at the White House capitol building by leaving his bag unattended.

Through Egypt, Australia and across the length of the USA – even when everyone speaks the same language, there are still cultural barriers to be broken with sheer force of personality.
